HYPERION
DRONE PLATFORM FOR WIND TURBINE INSPECTIONS, PROGRESSING TOWARDS FULL AUTONOMY. Hyperion is Alerion’s drone platform designed for high-performance wind turbine inspections. It is built to improve inspection consistency, data quality and operational efficiency in real field conditions. Its architecture combines inspection-oriented hardware with advanced navigation and flight capabilities, enabling structured and repeatable data acquisition while streamlining field operations. The platform integrates high-resolution sensing technologies, including a 60 MP camera with RTK positioning and LiDAR compatibility, together with onboard processing to support advanced inspection workflows.
EXDRONE
ExDrone is Alerion’s breakthrough platform for inspections in explosive atmospheres — the world’s first certified drone designed exclusively for this mission. Built from scratch to digitize hazardous zones, it provides safe, on-demand access to previously hard-to-reach areas, minimizing the risks of manual inspections while making the process up to 10x faster. With ATEX & IECEx suitability for Zone 1 and Zone 2 (and Zone 0 only under safe work permits), ExDrone combines high-resolution visual and thermal imaging with modular sensing—gas detection, LiDAR, and NDT/UT-ready capabilities—to deliver traceable, actionable data for integrity and maintenance decisions.

DIGITAL TWIN
A Digital Twin is a high-fidelity virtual replica of an asset, built from physics-based models and real inspection data (LiDAR, photogrammetry, and sensor outputs). At Alerion, it becomes a living diagnostic layer turning field data into automated insights that help owners and operators improve performance, reduce risk, and plan maintenance with confidence.
DIGITAL TWIN
Within a long‒term strategy towards digitalization of wind turbine operations, ALERION has deployed the ALMA platform, a life cycle management platform of wind assets. Based on Digital Twins generated using Aeroelastic Models , LIDAR and photogrammetry, this platform automates diagnostic operations of the windfarm in a systematic manner and provides information to the owners and operators for performance improvements.
