The specific technical objectives of the project are as follows:

  • Design a drone system that increases current capacities in inspection tasks in wind energy, including contact inspections, musing ultrasonic testing and electrical conductivity systems.
  • Development of navigation technologies, including high-precision navigation and relative navigation systems using advanced sensor fusion techniques.
  • Development of a specific mission system for inspections through the use of drones allowing sensors to be remotely positioned in an agile and simple way and to interact with the measurement device in real time.
  • Development of new inspection procedures in wind energyusing drones. Safety and the state of conservation of the assets will be evaluated in an agile way and with objective methodology independent of the technician supervising the results obtained from the inspection carried out by drones.
